So…. You’re an introvert.
And you’ve been asked to do a talk or presentation or you are considering hosting a talk for a few people, online or at a venue. I’m guessing that these are some of your thoughts and feelings right now:
And then of course, the vacillating…. Because you realise you have to and want to get your work out there to be of service and make the difference you want to….yet the fear and terror of being ridiculed, judged or criticised is SO big that there’s no way you want to take the risk. Does any of this sound familiar? I’ve been there, too. What if I told you it can change? If that sounds far-fetched, I understand – because you might feel very far removed from that option right now. How would it be for you to feel calm when you think about “putting yourself out there”? What else might change if you could talk with confidence about your business, your offer, your product or service? Might it lead to more income? More clients and opportunities? More enjoyment and fun? Being yourself? Fall in Love with Presenting for Introverts: An IntroductionIf this sounds intriguing, then this 4-module workshop might be JUST right for you. You see, there are only 2 reasons for our terror to stand up in public and deliver a message.
In this workshop-series we are going to deal MOSTLY with the biggest block for introverts: the emotional ‘stuff’ and fear that prevents us from even trying. Once those are out of the way, the knowledge part is much easier to take in. In fact – it’s IMPOSSIBLE to learn skills when we’re terrified of taking action. How does it work? We’re going to meet online 4 times over 4 consecutive weeks. It’s an introvert-friendly space with only 8 places available. During and after this course, you will:
Dates: Tuesdays 13, 20, 27 November and 4 December 2018 If you think 6 am is too early – in the first course there was a participant who showed up at 4 am her time, like clockwork! Each class is 2 hours (Yes, we don’t play around and I promise you’re going to feel like it was too short!) Check your time zone with World Time Buddy Fee: The button takes you to a page where you can enter your details, make payment and receive instant confirmation of your reserved space. Here’s what previous attendees have said:“I adored the experience of working with Liesel. She creates a safe environment where you feel so validated & special and in a group it is as though you are the only one who exists. She is highly skilled and has such a beautiful open heart I cannot recommend working with her highly enough.” Jane Scott. “I enjoyed working in a small group with Liesel on the FILWP for Introverts class. I found the FILWP-way of using EFT to address fears of presenting attended to the deep-seated beliefs and emotions which were often hidden behind my unconscious responses. This, along with a broad brush understanding of the physiological and neurological processes that take place when I’m in that ‘fear’ place, has given me the opportunity and ability to react differently. Liesel is a sensitive and perceptive facilitator, acutely tuned in to the group and able to guide and respond to each participant according to their needs. This is a terrific short course and I highly recommend it.” Helen Walker. “Liesel has opened a world of possibilities for me by gently teaching and helping me with many self doubting beliefs and emotional barriers that have forced me to live in repression. After working with her I learnt so much about my personality and my unique strengths that I learned to love and accept myself.” Anonymous “Liesel’s gifts of professionalism, kind demeanor and deep knowledge of what it takes to move her students forward along their path with public speaking skills is exceptional.” Karen St Claire.
