Her method called “The Work” is a way to identify and question the thoughts that cause all our suffering. When we take the time to question the thoughts that are causing our suffering, and investigate whether they’re the truth or not, and get a chance to see how it influences our behaviour, we can experience tremendous freedom.
Here’s another of her quotes that I love:
“A thought is harmless unless we believe it. It’s not our thoughts, but our attachment to our thoughts, that causes suffering. Attaching to a thought means believing that it’s true, without inquiring. A belief is a thought that we’ve been attaching to, often for years.”

How it works:
We use a technology called Zoom to meet online in a group. It’s similar to Skype, but better quality. You’ll receive an easy link to click as soon as you register. It’s better to use a computer or laptop – phones and tablets have challenges with video.
Arrive at the workshop with an open mind and a willingness to discover some new thoughts. I’ll share a tiny bit of Byron Katie’s history to give some context, and we’ll go through ‘just’ the right amount of theory – so we can dive straight in to the juicy stuff of shifting our perceptions about our problems.
